Knowledge Base

When the version that Simply Safety think it is at does not match the version last updated, there is a chance that the user’s permissions did not allow updating the registry.

To check for the last update received, select the setup (or Configuration) menu within the Setup module and then select the ‘Release Notes’ tab. The last update patch received will be displayed at the top.

To set Simply Safety to the correct version, run REGEDIT and navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Simply Safety

Click on this folder and you should see ‘version’ displayed in the right panel. Right-mouse click on the word ‘version’ and select the option to MODIFY. Change the version to what you believe it should be and then click ‘OK’. Close Regedit.
